Welcome to the 2025 Festival…

Dear Friends, As our 21st season approaches, we can't help but reflect on the beautiful community that has gathered around the festival for the past two decades. We're immensely grateful for your support, and if you're new to us, we look forward to welcoming you with open arms. Our art form constantly reminds us of the human capacity for incredible beauty, and our upcoming season is a prime example of this.

Our 2025 summer festival is bookended by the appearances of two Grammy-winning artists. The legendary group Time for Three, who also has an Emmy award, will perform a fantastic genre-bending program. Guitarist Jason Vieaux, described by NPR as “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation”, will appear in concert performing solo repertoire as well as Boccherini's "Fandango" Quintet with festival artists.

In between, long-time festival favorite pianist Audrey Andrist returns to perform chamber music with artistic directors Kevin Kumar and Amy Barston. Former principal percussion of the Chicago Symphony, Ted Atkatz, will make his festival debut. We'll also be collaborating with a chef, pairing music with wine at Ventosa vineyard, and generally having a blast with you.

We look forward to seeing you there!
With immense gratitude,
Amy and Kevin
