Twenty years ago, two friends began a labor of love.  They built, from scratch, a refuge of beauty out of a shared belief in the power of music. Their vision was met by you – our generous and engaged community of listeners – creating a movement of music-making that continues to grow and evolve to this day. It is with great pride and gratitude that we now celebrate the 20th anniversary of ChamberFest Canandaigua with all of you.

Twenty years is a milestone that few organizations reach, requiring: friendship, persistence, grit, creativity, generosity, trust, and an intense love for both music and community. This twentieth season embodies this spirit from start to finish. From the exuberance of the music on stage, to the unforgettable moments spent in community with our artists and listeners, this season is only a foretaste of what's to come over the next decades. We simply invite you to experience it all anew this season –– the music, the friendships, the joy.

We would like to thank the many who built – and continue to dream into the future of – ChamberFest, especially Amy’s co-founder in 2004, Edward Klorman, for his vision, ingenuity, and immeasurable commitment; and Aimee Ward, our incredible executive director and tireless leader.

We are ever grateful to all who have contributed to the growth of our festival: our current and past board members, our donors and concert attendees, and our fellow musicians.  We dedicate this season to all of you.
